This is a recipe from India. Many Malays home have its own style of cooking this dish. Kurma represent a very mild dish with heavy cream sauce. In India, yoghurt or nut paste or cream is used but in Malay style cocnut milk is the alternative. The flavor comes from the ground coriander and cumin. Meat or vegetables or egg can be used to make a light and flavorful Kurma. Ingredients include onion, coriander, cardamom, cumin, clove,turmeric, cinnamon and star anise.
