Sup Soto brings you the fragrant, gently spiced taste of traditional soto without the long cooking time. Just add water, boil, and enjoy a warm, aromatic bowl of soup in minutes. Perfect for busy days, relaxed evenings, and whenever you want something comforting, flavourful, and satisfying. Ingredient : Coriander (35%), Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Star Anise, Fennel, Cloves, Lemongrass, Galangal, Bay Leaves, Kaffir Lime Leaves, Turmeric, Garlic, Ginger SUGGESTED SIDE DISHES • Compressed rice (nasi impit) • Potato fritters (bergedeil) • Sweet soy chilli sauce (sambal kicap) • Peanuts • Fried glass noodles (suhun goreng) • Spring onions • Fried shallots COOKING INSTRUCTIONS Heat a pan, add oil, and sauté the whole spices (4 sekawan) until fragrant. Blend shallots and candlenuts with water. Sauté the blended mixture until fragrant and the oil separates. Add the chicken and sauté briefly, then add Sup Soto Sulong. Pour in 1.5 litres of water and simmer until the chicken is tender. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it and allow it to cool slightly. Shred the chicken and set aside for serving. Serve the hot soup with nasi impit and all the side dishes.
