g. Image in the recording of closed circuit television (CCTV).

Your personal data may be used for the following purposes including but not limited to:

a. To verify your identity;

b. To process the application and/or to provide a Login ID when you create a Seller Account or Buyer Account on the Platform;

c. To process any application for any other features available on the Platform;

d. To provide you with the products and/or services made available on the Platform;

e. To manage your activities on the Platform;

f. To facilitate communication with you and/or with applicable party on the Platform;

g. To respond to your queries, feedback, claims or disputes;

h. To perform research or statistical analysis to improve the Platform and product and services available on the Platform;

i. To inform you of products and services which may be of interest to you including information about products and services offered by our related corporation and third- party in collaboration with us;

j. To provide notices, surveys, product alerts, communications and other promotional and marketing materials to you relating to the product and services offered by us on the Platform from time to time.

a. Visit and/or browse our Platform and associated websites (including but not limited to; www.borong.com, www.digital-niaga.com and www.finnextcapital.com);

b. Sign-up on our Platform and/or when you submit any forms and/or agreements and/or contracts to us;

c. Fill up any application forms and/or feedback forms and/or any other documents in connection with the products and/or services provided on our Platform;

d. Access to or apply for any features available on our Platform, including but not limited to the Seller Payment Terms and Digital Niaga Program;

e. Register interest and/or request for information from our Platform and associated websites;

f. Communicate with us via Borong-MY’s live-chat;

g. Register or subscribe to Borong-MY’s membership or our newsletters;

h. Respond to any marketing materials related to us;

i. Participate in any of our surveys, competitions, contests or loyalty programs run/organized by us;

j. Commence a business relationship with us;

k. Visit any of our warehouse and/or third-party logistics partners (also known as “3PL”);

l. Visit and/or browse our social media websites (for example, but not limited to; Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Whatsapp, Telegram, Pinterest, Google, Youtube);

m. Lodge a complaint or provide feedback to us;

n. Other than personal data obtained from you directly (as detailed above), we may also obtain your personal data from third parties we deal with or are connected with you (such as credit reference agencies or financial institutions), and from such other sources where you have given your consent for the disclosure of information relating to you, and/or where otherwise lawfully permitted.

6. Disclosure of personal data

By communicating or engaging with us or browses and/or uses our Platform and/or the products and services made available on our Platform, you expressly consent to the disclosure of your personal data for the Purposes herein to our related corporations and the following class of third parties:-

a. Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS), CTOS or any credit reference agency;

b. Any authorities, or as required by law, directives or guidelines, whether having the force of law or otherwise; or

c. Any third party being a participant or collaborator for the products and services made available on the Platform including the Seller, Buyer, financiers and service providers.

7. Security of personal data

We uses strict procedures and security features to prevent unauthorised access wherever possible. Personal data provided to us via the Platform or via any applications, online credit card transactions are protected with reasonable security measures. When personal data is stored by us, we use computer systems with limited access housed in facilities using physical security measures. Data stored in cloud services is in encrypted form including when we utilize third- party storage. The level of security of personal data which kept in a non-electronic environment are also treated with strict procedures and means.

8. Use of Cookies

We collect information about your visit to our website from cookies. Cookies are packets of information stored in your computer which assist your website navigation by customizing site information tailored to your needs.
